Minutes of June 3, 2011 Special Meeting
Senior Center, Riverside Road, Newtown, Connecticut
Present: Michael Floros, Paul Lundquist, Michael Mossbarger, Robert Maurer, Ben Roberts, Nancy Roznicki, Gary Steele, and Deborra Zukowski; Absent: Alan Shepard. Also Present: First Selectman, E. Patricia Llodra
Mr. Floros called the meeting to order at 7:15 pm. There was no public participation.
Approval of Minutes: Mr. Lundquist motioned to approve the minutes of May 23, 2011, which was seconded by Mr. Maurer. The minutes were approved unanimously as amended.
REVIEW OF SURVEY RESULTS
Mr. Floros opened discussion regarding the review of survey results. Mr. Lundquist handed out and reviewed the basic raw data that resulted from the survey. He noted that 1,041 people responded to the survey and out of that, 18 took the survey via paper version and felt there was a strong diverse representation of Newtown residents. The results will need to be reviewed in more detail before results can be publicized.
Ms. Zukowski motioned to adjourn the meeting. Mr. Lundquist seconded the motion. The meeting adjourned at 9:10 pm.
